In February of 2024, we left London - packed up our flat, quit our jobs, said goodbye to our dearest friends and ran away to a remote house on the sea in Brittany. Our days were simple, we woke with the sun, washed outside, walked the cliffs with our morning coffee, centred our days around cooking and writing, napped at noon, and slipped silently into the familiar rhythm of our intimacy. And When You Wake, Call For Me is a celebration of platonic love, the symbiotic nature of a friendship of more than twenty years, the give and take of light and shadow, the regulation of breath, the joy of sleeping side by side, and waking, together. These images were collected during this time.
